May 25th, 1969 — Orville the Daredevil was an added attraction to events such as this car race at Edmonton Speedway. He sat down beside a cardboard box full of dynamite and then set it off. There was a steel plate between him and the box unseen by the spectators but still, it was a strange way to make a living.
