Oct 31, 1973 — In the 1970’s and 1980’s Nicole Parton was a feature reporter for the Vancouver Province Newspaper. One of her self assigned stories in the 70’s was about washing windows on high rise towers and to do the story she went up the side of the TD Tower at Georgia and Granville in a window washing platform. Neither of us were fond of heights. The tower’s twin on the north side of Georgia was still under construction.
