July 1975 — There is one certain method of getting a newspaper photographer to take your picture. Tell him he can’t take your picture. That’s what happened when the evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman visited Vancouver. Pictures by the press while she was on stage were strictly forbidden which just made me try harder. I only got a couple of shots but this one not only appeared in the Vancouver Province but was also sold to People magazine for a story they were doing on Kuhlman’s scandalous money problems.
A great photo of Miss Kuhlman, which I wish I could have had for my biography, “Kathryn Kuhlman, The Woman Behind the Miracles” (1993, now out of print). I included some good photos, but the Kuhlman Foundation would not let me use any of their photos. Best wishes. Wayne Warner

She was the first woman I had ever seen evangelizing on TV. I was very young but understood her spirit fillled teaching of the Bible. She was one woman in my life that encouraged me to be a woman of influence for God.
A great woman of God who did exploits for God according to the book of Daniel. She knew the God whom she serves personally.
