Circa 1975 — If you’ve ever built a sailboat you know that it’s most important to find a dry and warm place to do it. The builder of this boat found an unconventional location, the upstairs loft in a commercial building on South West Marine Drive near Granville Street. It was an event when the boat was finished and removed with the help of a crane. It would have been more of an event if it hadn’t fit through the doors.
