September 1977 — Harold Kaesbauer sitting in his twin engine kart during a rainy practice for an enduro race at Westwood Racing Circuit in Coquitlam. Karts didn’t like the rain in the 1970’s. Sometimes the carburetors ingested more water that gasoline giving new meaning to the expression, “it won’t start, I think it’s flooded”.
