September 12th, 1976 — Bill Adams with Rex Hayes Jr on his rear bumper heading into Gatley’s Garden. Bill’s family ran the go kart track in Richmond for many years. Rex’s father was a prominent member of the International Karting Federation for many years. This was an IKF Gold Cup Sprint race at Westwood Racing Circuit.
