January 4th, 2017 — The Trans Am Totem, a 10-meter-high sculpture by Vancouver-based artist Marcus Bowcott, dominates the traditional scenic Lions in the background but then so does most urban construction and has done so for some time as in the circa 1975 picture below which ran in The Province newspaper.
