Circa 1963 — This is possibly the first laydown kart ever built. I’m not sure where the picture was taken (possibly Seattle International Raceway) or who the photographer was but the photograph was a part of Ed Shaughnessy’s collection of kart racing pictures which he gave to me many years ago.
