July 4, 1973 — The call came in for a fire on the west side of the Stanley Park seawall so I rushed into the park and ran towards the location from Prospect Point. As I came around the corner there was a lone fireman running towards me carrying a hose. Where he was going to put that hose I have no idea and neither did he. He had no pump, no truck, nothing, I guess he was just following orders. It turned out there was no fire but this picture made the paper.
